Why Elevate Teams?

Can you recall a time growing up in school when you so desperately wanted to be the first one picked to play a game in gym class?  You dreaded being the last one picked.  At some point we’ve all been in that situation where we just wanted to feel important and part of the team.  That deep desire children have to connect with each other is exactly the reason why we are making Elevate Teams a priority on Wednesday nights.

What happens during an Elevate Teams Wednesday night?

Children from k to 5th grade will be placed on teams that will work together discovering life applicable truth from God’s Word.  Their goal is to earn points for their team by participating in the games, by singing during the praise time, by working together during the small group activity, by memorizing scripture, and by listening to their team coach.  These points are called “E Points” and will be redeemable at the “Elevate Store”.
